Nikola Tesla (born July 10, 1856 in Smiljan, Austrian Empire (now in Croatia), and died on January 7, 1943 in New York, USA) was an American engineer and inventor of Serbo-Croatian origin (Croatian birthplace and Serbian origin), who mainly worked in the field of electricity.
