For instance, Jobs preferred face to face meetings with his followers (Isaacson, 2012. He believed that spontaneous and random discussions were vital in enhancing the creativity among his followers (Isaacson, 2012). Gandhi, on the other hand, related indiscriminately with his followers, regardless of their social classes (Wolpert, 2002). Aside from indiscriminately attending to his followers, Gandhi is also renowned for his intellectual stimulation of his followers. Aside from inspiring their followers, these two leaders practiced idealized influence. Transformational leaders are known to be role models of respect, trust, and high ethical behavior.
Conclusively, Mahatma Gandhi and Steve Jobs are good examples of transformative leaders manifested most of the qualities of transformational leadership. Their attention to their followers was particularly amazing and hence they are role models for today’s leaders to emulate.
